The Gladiator Vehicle Contents Cover provides you with assurance that the contents of your van are covered.

This policy will help you to recover costs up to £6,000, depending on the level of cover you choose, if your van's contents such as personal belongings, tools, materials and stock are stolen or damaged in a traffic collision or fire.

Choose the right level of Vehicle Contents Cover for you

Vehicle Contents Cover is a higher level of cover that specifically protects the contents of your van. It's ideal for tradespeople who might have expensive tools in their van as well as people using their van for leisure pursuits or carrying high value personal belongings.

We have £1,000, £2,000, £4,000 and £6,000 cover options available. Pick the level of cover that best suits your van's contents. The amount chosen will be the maximum we will pay for any claim.

How Vehicle Contents Cover works

Our Vehicle Contents Cover upgrade covers your van's contents anywhere in the UK and at any time.

Make sure your van is always locked and that any items in an open cargo area must be in a locked toolbox or chest that's fixed down. Leisure items like bicycles and surfboards must be securely fixed to a roof rack or other appropriate mounting.

Certain items are excluded from Vehicle Contents Cover, including:

  • Mobile phones
  • Money, including credit or debit cards
  • Tickets
